boston
this weekend i did my semi-yearly visit to see jungmin in boston. it was a nice escape from atlanta; weather was fairly nice except for today and it's always nice to see my little brother.

friday night, i got there pretty late... we were supposed to go to a diner to eat but it was too late. we couldn't really go to a bar since he's not 21 and i gave him an ID with my name on it - obviously we can't both use IDs with same name and birthdate. so then we decided to get burritos and buy some beer and hang out at his place. turns out boston doesn't sell alcohol past 11!! so we ended up raiding his roomate's fridge for beer and we hung out, ate burritos, played some xbox (can you believe it... i played nba2k6..) with him and his roomates.

saturday, i went to this amazing little sushi place called oishii, in chestnut hilll near boston college. it's pretty far from boston, but it's well worth the trip. it was small (seating for like 12 people?) place with a real sushi bar, and it had amazing sushi!! one of the best sushi i've had. good service, good food... definitely recommend if you're in boston. then we watched science of sleep and the illusionist. science of sleep pretty much sucked so we watched the illusionist, which also wasn't so good... too predictable of a movie. then we finished off with good chinese food and then more beer.

sunday, i met up with shilpa for lunch! it was nice to see another friend! we met up, ate lunch, drank tea and catched up on happenings and stuff. it was really nice to see a friend from miami... believe it or not, i miss my life back in miami. can't wait to go back to my bed, my tv, my room, my kitchen, etc...

sushi... yummy...
